Contended in all six races for UC San Diego … Was the first of two displacers for the Tritons at the NCAA Division II West Regional Championships in Kahuku, Hawaii, where he finished the 10k race in 90th place overall with a time of 35:29.68 … Finished first among Tritons at the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Championships, taking the final slot of the All-CCAA Team in 15th place with a time of 26:16.2 … Won the 20th Annual Triton Invitational in dominant fashion, leading the race from beginning to end to clock in at 26:15 and earned the CCAA Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week award by virtue of his performance (Week of 10/1-10/7) … Cracked the top 25 of the highly-competitive adidas/UC Irvine Invitational, crossing the finish line with 26:06.2 showing on the clock as UCSD’s fourth finisher … Placed fourth overall and second for the Tritons at the Lancer Invitational (25:35) ... Ran in four events during freshman year ... Was the Tritons' top runner in 67th Annual SDSU Aztec Invitational, placing ninth with a time of 26:51.8 ... Took 15th overall in UCSD Opener (22:58.2) ... A 2011 graduate of Aliso Niguel High School in Aliso Viejo, where he was a two-time South Coast League honoree on the cross country squad ... Named the ANHS Athlete of the Year as a senior, while also taking home Cross Country Runner of the Year accolades in 2009 and 2010 ...
