Joining Wilson on the All-CCAA Second Team were Kelcie Brodsky and Izzy Pozurama. Alexa Enlow and Gabi Hernandez garnered All-CCAA honorable mention.

The six players on the first and second teams represented a conference high, with the eight Tritons in all being recognized in fact one better than the seven a year ago. UCSD placed the most players on the All-CCAA squads in 2011 as well, with five.

Wilson is a first-time all-conference pick, joining the 12-player second team, although she did gain honorable mention as a freshman in 2009. The Santa Ana native is the only UCSD player to have stayed on the field for every minute of all 17 matches thus far in 2012, serving as the central figure of head coach Brian McManus' three-person back line while adding a pair of goals offensively.

Wilson is the second consecutive Triton to earn the league's top defensive honor, after two-time All-American goalkeeper Kristin Armstrong in 2011. She is the third UCSD player to earn the award over the five years since it began in 2008.

Callahan, a local out of Coronado High School, is also a first-time All-CCAA selection after garnering honorable mention as the CCAA Freshman of the Year a season ago. She is the Tritons' current points leader with 23 from eight goals and seven assists, both team highs. Four of her goals have been game-winners.

Johnson made the All-CCAA First Team for the second straight season after honorable mention in 2010. As the Triton left back, she has started all 17 games with four goals and four assists. The Santa Rosa product is third on the squad with 12 points. Johnson, like Wilson, has started all 84 games over the past four years.

Wi is another two-time All-CCAA performer, now a first-teamer after a second-team selection in her 2009 Co-Freshman of the Year campaign, and honorable mention a year ago. The Oakland native has started all 17 matches with three goals and four assists in her final collegiate season.

Brodsky, Pozurama, Hernandez and Enlow were each recognized by the conference for the first time.

Brodsky is the second-team goalkeeper, with the true freshman leading the CCAA in goals-against average (0.51) and save percentage .886. She ranks 10th nationally in goals-against average, and first among freshmen. The Agoura Hills native has started all 17 matches and posted eight shutouts for a UCSD defense ranked 16th nationally.

Pozurama is coming off of a spectacular October to gain her spot as a forward on the All-CCAA Second Team. She now shares the team lead with fellow sophomore Callahan with eight goals scored, all of them coming since Oct. 7, with four of them game-winners as the Tritons have gone 6-1 over their last seven games. From Lake Forest, Pozurama has started all but one contest.

Hernandez, out of Altadena, has notched five goals over 16 matches, 12 of them starts, to earn honorable mention from the league head coaches. With Wilson and Johnson, she is the third senior tri-captain on this year's squad. Fellow senior Enlow, from Huntington Beach, is second on the team with six assists over 17 starts.

Junior forward Karenee Demery of Cal State Stanislaus, a two-time All-American and the joint national leader with her 18 goals scored, was voted the CCAA Most Valuable Offensive Player for the second time in her three years of college soccer. Sonoma State's Emiria Salzmann Dunn is a first-time CCAA Coach of the Year, with Megan Kisslan of Cal Poly Pomona the Freshman of the Year and Cara Curtin of Sonoma State the Newcomer of the Year.

UCSD, ranked 13th in the nation in the NCAA Division II, is in Carson for the 2012 CCAA Championship. The third-seeded Tritons take on second seed Cal State Stanislaus in the second semifinal on Friday, Nov. 2 Kickoff at Toro Stadium is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. A live video stream and live stats will be available for free.
