Glenn Busch is in his eighth season as an assistant coach for the men's water polo team at UC San Diego in 2013.
Busch wrapped up his eighth season as an assistant coach for the men's water polo team at UCSD in 2012. Busch played on the UCSD men's water polo team from 1997-2000 and earned All-Western Water Polo Association (WWPA) honors twice and was named an All-American during his senior season. Busch made the crucial save to seal the upset win over USC in the 2000 National Championship Semi-Final game advancing UCSD to its first-ever National Championship game appearance.
Before joining the coaching staff at UCSD, Busch spent six seasons at Torrey Pines High School as the boys water polo junior varsity coach and assistant varsity coach. He helped the school reach three consecutive San Diego Section CIF Division I Championship games.
Busch graduated from UCSD with a Bachelor of Science degree in animal physiology and neuroscience. He also obtained his master's in educational sciences from UCSD.
