AS A JUNIOR IN 2009: Won the 1500 event at the San Diego City Championships and finished 14^th with a time of 3:59.15 during the UCLA Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner-Kersee Invitational… Sixth-place finisher in 3000 steeplechase with time of 9:50.21 during CCAA Championships… Finished eighth in 3000 steeplechase at the All-Cal Championships.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2008: Placed seventh in the 1500M at the CCAA Championships with a time of 4:03.92...  At the UCSD Triton Invitational placed 13th in the 1500M with a time of 3:59.05... 3000M Champion at the San Diego City Championships... Placed sixth in the 1500M at the All-Cal Challenge Cup... At the Cal-Nevada Championships finished 23rd in the 1500M with a time of 4:07.37.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2007: Finished 2nd in the 3000 at the San Diego City Championships with a time of 9:03.52... crossed the finish line in 2:02.19 in the 800 during the UCSD Divisional Challenge, finishing 12th in the event... completed the 1500 in 4:08.66 at the UCSD Triton Invitational.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2006 graduate of Ponderosa High School in Shingle Springs, Calif... helped team to an 11th place finish at the CIF Division 2 State Championships as a senior... had personal bests of 16:02 in the three mile and 16:25 in the 5k cross country events... also had personal bests of 1:58.28 in the 800 meters, 4:31.3 in the 1600 meters and 9:52.5 in the 3200 meters during track & field season... also a member of the UCSD men’s cross country team.

PERSONAL: Born October 24, 1987... parents are William and Elizabeth Wright of Rescue, Calif... has two siblings named William and Samuel... is a Mechanical Engineering major at Warren College... enjoys wakeboarding, snowboarding, white water kayaking, back packing and traveling in his spare time.
