AS A JUNIOR IN 2006: Played in two matches during her first year on the UCSD campus... went 2-0 while playing in the No. 6 spot on the ladder.
JUNIOR COLLEGE: Played for two seasons at nearby Palomar College under coach Ronnie Mancao... was an All Pacific Coast honoree in both singles and doubles in both years at Palomar... named the Pacific Coast Conference Player of the Year and earned All-America status in 2005... posted a 14-0 record in league singles play, helping team to the 2005 league championship... also played soccer while at Palomar College.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2003 graduate of nearby Escondido High School... helped team to the school’s first ever Valley League Championship in 2002.
PERSONAL: Born September 16, 1985... parents are John and Melisa Knudsen... is a Mathematics major at Thurgood Marshall College.
